Horizon IT has gained a great deal of experience working within the education sector over the years, at Primary, Secondary and Higher Education levels. We understand that ICT is an extremely important tool for your children to utilise, both for work and projects within school, as also as a building block for their futures beyond their educational years and into work.

 

Learning and coping with new technology is one thing, if you have problems with your network at the same time can make life near impossible.

 

From the most basic systems to complex network infrastructures, we have the knowledge and skill sets not only to create and support reliable, functional and efficient ICT systems, but also the ability to pass on key points of information to both staff and ICT co-ordinators, which will allow them to understand how and why their network functions as it does, and where problems may occur. We talk in a language you can understand, and will be working with you, together as a team.

 

ICT Support Packages

Weekly ICT Support Contract

  • A Horizon IT systems engineer will visit once per week during term time, each visit is 4 hours on-site.
  • One additional visit is provided prior to a new term starting, to assess and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Telephone support is available from 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
  • Up to four additional call-outs per term are available, to resolve critical problems, response within 24 Hours.
  • Remote access support is provided, where applicable, to resolve systems issues out of hours.
  • Provides an equipment inventory and audit of your current infrastructure.
  • A management meeting is undertaken once per term to discuss current issues, future projects and performance.
  • An on-site log book is provided to record problems arising, and actions taken to resolve the problem.
  • On-site training for users can be provided to assist in helping staff utilise the statement.
  • Email support is provided, with 24 Hour response at support@horizon-it-systems.co.uk

Fortnightly ICT Support Contract

  • A Horizon IT systems engineer will visit once per fortnight during term time, each visit is 4 hours on-site.
  • One additional visit is provided prior to a new term starting, to assess and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Telephone support is available from 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
  • Up to two additional call-outs per term are available, to resolve critical problems, response within 24 Hours.
  • Remote access support is provided, where applicable, to resolve systems issues out of hours.

  • Telephone support is available from 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
  • One additional call-out per term is available, to resolve critical problems, response within 24 Hours.
  • Remote access support is provided, where applicable, to resolve systems issues out of hours.
  • Email support is provided, with 24 Hour response at Support@horizon-it-systems.co.uk

We provide systems engineer level technical assistance on site, which means that we already have the necessary skill sets to manage your network. We believe that this experience is vital to ensure each customer receives the best value for money support available.

 

Additionally, Horizon IT will provide two free half day visits to the school prior to any agreement undertaken. This provides the school with an understanding of our experience and skills, and additionally a chance for you and your staff to get to know your nominated engineer. We can also assess your system, and the types of problems that you experience on a day to day basis.
